Sump Pump Warranty

Sump Pump Installation

Rhage Contracting warrants all installed sump pumps according to the manufacturer's warranty from the date of our installation for a total of three(3) years against any mechanical defect in parts that result in the failure of your pump. In this case, we will replace the pump subject to a flat labour fee to cover the removal and installation of the replacement pump.

This warranty does not cover situations related to electrical damage; we recommend using a battery backup to safeguard against failure in this regard. This warranty does not cover mechanical damage caused by frozen discharge piping or other external climate-related failures. Ongoing maintenance of the pump or any drain located therein is solely your responsibility in any case.

Scope

Rhage Contracting warrants all of the above services according to the scope set in reaction to symptoms that have been provided by you throughout our points of contact and validated by our estimator(s). It is our job to gauge the threat of permeation and appropriately set this scope in response to provide you the most effective and cost-efficient solution to address your individual situation. Due to the migratory nature of draining water, there remains a chance that a new point of permeation may become affected. If your basement’s perimeter in its entirety has not been treated, we cannot guarantee that future work at additional cost may be necessary to extend the scope of your home’s protection.

Potential Moisture Damage

This warranty does not imply indemnity for any tangible or intangible damage caused by leaking water itself; we do not provide compensation for any damages to person, property, or otherwise in relation to or caused by flooding, regardless of the water’s source of permeation, treated by us or otherwise.

Cosmetics

We are not be held responsible for incidental damage related to our technicians’ work within our quoted work area, such as peeled paint or settled dust created from work performed. Additional ensuing cosmetic damage to concrete such as discolouration or efflorescence as a result of future leakage is also outside of our coverage scope.

Legalese

The foregoing warranties are the only warranties provided by Rhage Contracting and there are no other warranties, express or implied, with respect to any work, services, or products supplied by Rhage Contracting. To the extent permitted by law, any implied warranties provided for in any statute or legislation are specifically excluded. The liability of Rhage Contracting for any breach of warranty or for any damages of any kind relating to any work, services or materials supplied by Rhage Contracting shall be limited to a refund of any money paid by the client to Rhage Contracting. Rhage Contracting shall not be responsible for, or liable for, any other losses, damages or claims of every nature and kind whether same are foreseeable or otherwise.

Comprehensive Warranties, Peace of Mind

In keeping with our customer first philosophy and level of service, we stand behind the quality of our foundation repair work with an assortment of comprehensive warranties. They cover: Interior Crack Repairs, Outside Membrane Wraps, French Drains, Sump Pump Installations and Window Well Installations.

  2. Ideally we prefer if you have the original paperwork, but don’t worry, if it is lost we will still take care of you.
  3. Share the registered homeowner’s name and address, we will take it from there.
  4. Once confirmed, one of our technicians will come to your home and conduct a no-charge inspection to verify it is indeed the originally repaired crack.
  5. Once verified, the Rhage Contracting technician will complete the repairs as described in the appropriate warranty.
